Guesses:

How to play

  • A hidden word appears as blanks. Type one letter (a–z) in the box and press Guess or submit the field.
  • Correct letters fill every matching blank. Wrong letters cost one of six mistakes and advance the stick-figure sketch.
  • Guessed letters are listed so you do not repeat them. Reusing a letter does nothing.
  • Spell the full word before the figure completes to win. New Game picks another word anytime.

Game description

A word hides as blank spaces. Guess letters one at a time; correct guesses reveal every matching slot while wrong guesses sketch a spare figure that tracks how few mistakes remain. Solve the full word before the sketch completes and you win; exhaust the mistake budget and take a breath before the next round.

Keyboard entry keeps desktop play fast; tap-friendly controls cover letters when mice are not handy. New game swaps targets so curiosity never stalls on one stump. Players rehearse high-frequency letters first, read partials as morphology hints, and choose discriminators when two words still fit the visible pattern. The tone stays playful—language practice dressed as a doodle—while quietly encouraging probability thinking and the habit of double-checking before committing.
